INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Former U.S. Senator Richard Lugar will receive Germany’s highest honor. The Lugar Center says German President Joachim Gauck has decided to give Lugar the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit. The presentation will be made in Washington tomorrow evening. Lugar retired from the Senate in January after six terms representing Indiana.
