Sunday Alcohol Sales May Soon Be a Reality

Lawmakers are taking up a bill aimed at ending Indiana’s status as the last state in the country that bans Sunday retail alcohol sales. The House public policy committee has scheduled a hearing today on the measure. Liquor store owners have long opposed allowing Sunday sales, saying their overhead costs would increase.
