SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) _ Northern Indiana prosecutors have charged a man in the decades-old rapes of two women after his DNA matched evidence which had sat in storage since the 1980s.
 
  Forty-eight-year-old Raymond Ebel faces two counts each of rape and burglary for allegedly raping a woman in 1987 and another woman in 1988. He’s currently serving time at a Michigan prison for crimes unrelated to the rapes.
 
  The South Bend Tribune reports Ebel is accused of breaking into the women’s St. Joseph County homes in the middle of the night and raping them.
 
  Investigators collected DNA after both assaults. But it wasn’t until last year that the Indiana State Police laboratory told South Bend investigators it matched the DNA in both cases to Ebel, who’s in the database for criminal convictions.
