Police Officer Starts Anti-Bully Class

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP): An Evansville police officer who conducts self-defense classes on the side is starting a Bully Stopper class for schoolchildren. Sgt. Sam Smith says he was inspired after learning a relative had been bullied and after seeing students bullied at a private school where he formerly worked. The class will include self-defense, but he also hopes to enroll bullies themselves so they can change their ways.
