RICHMOND, Ind. (AP) _ Richmond's fire chief has resigned from his post in the eastern Indiana city after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct for fighting with a man in a nearby town.
 
  Richmond Fire Chief Mike Crawley submitted his resignation Wednesday. He'll step down as chief on July 16.
 
  The Palladium-Item reports Mayor Sally Hutton says Crawley will remain with the fire department as a lieutenant.
 
  Crawley pleaded guilty last month to one count of disorderly conduct for an April fight in Centerville with 33-year-old Chad King.  King pleaded guilty to the same charge earlier this month.
 
  Crawley told police King struck him at least three times, injuring his nose and chipping one of his teeth. King told police Crawley struck him and spit on him during the incident.
