INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – An Indianapolis woman has been sentenced to four years in prison for child neglect in the death of her 7-year-old son in an apartment fire that authorities say was started by a methamphetamine lab.
 
Marion County prosecutor's office spokesman AJ Deer tells The Indianapolis Star that 30-year-old Jessica Rogers was sentenced to six years, but two years were suspended. She also was ordered to serve two years on probation.
 
Rogers pleaded guilty last week as part of a plea agreement in which a murder charge was dismissed in the death of Dreydon Webb. Marion County prosecutors said the evidence was inconclusive that Rogers was responsible for starting the fire, though evidence still supported the neglect charge.
 
The child's body was found 5 feet from the window where Rogers escaped.
