BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (AP) _ A judge has sentenced a southwestern Indiana man to 81 years in prison for the abduction slaying of a 19-year-old woman.
Greene Superior Court Judge Dena Martin told 27-year-old Jordan Buskirk of Jasonville the “community was not safe with “someone like you in it.''

Buskirk's sentence for murder, conspiracy and criminal confinement charges is the same length as that received earlier this month by another Jasonville man, 26-year-old Randal Crosley, in connection with the June 2013 death of Katelyn Wolfe of Linton.
Buskirk and Crosley both pleaded guilty to killing Wolfe last June and dumping her body in a lake in the Greene-Sullivan State Forest. The body was found five days after Wolfe was last seen in her hometown about 30 miles southeast of Terre Haute.
