HOBART, Ind. (AP): The Lake County coroner's office reports two young brothers drowned in a pond in northwest Indiana. A news release from Coroner Merrilee Frey says 8-year-old Terrion Smith and 9-year-old Donel Smith were pronounced dead at St. Mary Medical Center Saturday night after being pulled from the pond in their hometown of Hobart.
