Indianapolis Zoo Expects Balky Ride to Stay Closed

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): An Indianapolis Zoo spokeswoman says a ride that left six passengers stranded some 35 feet above an orangutan exhibit likely will remain closed for the rest of the year. Spokeswoman Judy Palermo says the Skyline Ride has been repaired but likely won't be inspected until the weather gets warmer next spring or summer. She says the cooler weather normally would have shut down the ride for the season.
