<span style=”font-size: 18px;”>INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ The Indiana State Department of Health has opened a call center to answer the public's questions about Ebola.
It said Monday that health representatives are available there to answer questions regarding symptoms, screening and diagnosis of Ebola.
The call center telephone number is (877) 826-0011. It's open Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. EDT. The hearing impaired can call (877) 561-0044.
State Health Commissioner Dr. William VanNess says there's some misinformation about Ebola right now and the call center provides people with a way to easily get the information they need.
Ebola is spread only through direct contact with blood or body fluids of someone infected with it. Symptoms include fever, headache, joint and muscle pain, weakness, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain, lack of appetite and abnormal bleeding.
