Pence, Company Executives to Speak at Agriculture Conference

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Indiana's top state government leaders and some agriculture company executives are scheduled to speak at the first Governor's Agriculture Conference.

The governor's office says more than 300 agriculture leaders from around the state are expected to attend Friday's conference at a downtown Indianapolis hotel.

Gov. Mike Pence and Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann are among the planned speakers. Others scheduled to speak include Purdue University agriculture dean Jay Akridge, Dow AgroSciences CEO Tim Hassinger and Cargill executive chairman Greg Page.
