Indy Dev Seeks Bonds for Fort Wayne Apartment Project

An Indianapolis developer has plans for a $10-million renovation for a Southeast Fort Wayne apartment complex.

Vop Osili is asking Fort Wayne's Economic Development Commission for enough money in bonds to cover half the project's cost. The News-Sentinel reports the idea is to convert the Diplomat Apartments complex into “the Little Gardens,” in an attempt to improve the area's image and reputation.

The idea is to have everything done by November of next year.
