Indiana AG Zoeller Targeting Illegal Telemarketers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller is arming Hoosiers with a way to stop unwanted calls.

At Indiana Tech Wednesday, he introduced a new call-blocking reference sheet. It's a refrence sheet that informs the public of the paid and free call-blocking options they have to block unwanted calls.

Zoeller says that, while the state's Do Not Call list works for preventing legitimate telemarketers from calling you, there's still illegal telemarketers and robocallers who ignore state and federal laws. In fact, unwanted calls remain the Indiana AG's top complaint, with over 7,500 complaints this year alone.
