Gunman Sentenced to 18 Years for July Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It's 18 years in prison for triggerman a July shooting.

An Allen County judge ordered Twenty-five year-old Steven Bleich to serve 14 years for aggravated battery and another four years for criminal recklessness. He accepted a plea deal earlier this month.

In July Bleich was involved in a confrontation on Engleton Road that escalated to taking shots at a pickup truck as it traveled along Ardmore Avenue striking one and seriously injuring a passenger inside.

According to the News-Sentinel he was also ordered to serve six for probation violation from a drug charge.
