(WOWO): What do John Cena, mentors from military units and a Fort Wayne man David Neville all have in common?

They all will be featured on Fox’s new reality show, American Grit, which premieres at 9 p.m. Thursday night.

Neville will be split into one of four teams on the show. The teams will work together to complete a variety of challenges and compete for $1 million, according to FOX.com.

WWE superstar John Cena will host American Grit and four military instructors — two former Army soldiers, a Navy SEAL and a Marine — will mentor the contestants through rigorous military-style challenges.

“The U.S Military is the epitome of resolve and dedication, which is why I am so excited to be a part of American Grit,” Cena said on Fox.com. “This show will not only be a challenging and fierce competition, but it will give viewers a glimpse into the perseverance and training of the men and women of the Armed Forces.”

Neville is a 2008 Olympic and Gold and Bronze medalist track star. A viewing party is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. on Thursday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Coventry Lane in Fort Wayne.

Neville will be on The Pat Miller Show at about 3:35 p.m.
