Six people arrested after meth bust in Fort Wayne hotel room, police say

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Six people were arrested after police say they found a meth lab in a Fort Wayne hotel room.

At about 6 p.m. Friday, police responded to a tip at the Economy Inn at 3340 W. Coliseum, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

When officers arrive they found an active meth lab in the room and arrested six people.

David L. Koker, 32, was arrested on preliminary charges of parole violation, manufacturing meth, possession of a syringe, dealing a like alike substance (spice) and maintaining a common nuisance.

Regina K. Barker, 43, was arrested on preliminary charges of manufacturing meth, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a syringe.

Eighteen-year-old Savannah D. Martin, 29-year-old Cedric L. Edwards, 27-year-old Alisha Chilton and 25-year-old Alison Governo were all arrested on preliminary visiting a common nuisance charge.

Allen County Board of Health and Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code condemned the room because it was contaminated with meth.

The fire department cited the establishment for violation of fire code.

The meth bust is still under investigation.
