FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Chapman Charitable Trust is donating $8 million dollars to Purdue University Fort Wayne’s Chapman Scholars Fund Endowment.
The gift brings the endowment’s total to more than $14.9 million dollars. The program awards incoming freshmen scholarships covering tuition, housing, textbooks and food.
The donation continues Howard and Elizabeth Chapman’s legacy of supporting education and strengthening northeast Indiana communities through generations of PFW students.
