COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WOWO): Whitley County is teaming up with Purdue University.

The Whitley County Economic Development Corporation is teaming with Purdue to set up a digital manufacturing education program, according to Inside Indiana Business.

The EDC wants to use the partnership to keep manufacturing companies in the county competitive in the future.

Whitley County and Purdue will send surveys to manufacturing businesses to determine how to best tailor the program. In return, the businesses will get assistance in adopting digital manufacturing technologies.
