Over the weekend, Fort Wayne police responded to three fatal shootings… and have already made arrests in the two Sunday night shootings.

Police spokesman Michael Joyner tells WOWO news those arrests came thanks to tips from the public, which prove just how essential witnesses are to the crime solving process.

“We need individuals who have key information to provide that information, so we can make an arrest. If not, these individuals will remain on the streets and continue to commit crimes,” Joyner said in a phone interview.

Police are still looking for details on a fatal shooting that happened at a downtown apartment on Saturday.
