FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A local food bank got a big donation from Walmart this week.

Community Harvest Food Bank received a refrigerated truck Monday, valued at $120,000. The Journal Gazette reports the truck will be used to pick up donations from area supermarkets and deliver it to the food bank’s Tillman Road headquarters, as well as at almost 400 partner agencies.

This is the third time Walmart has donated a vehicle to the food bank. The company also donated $50,000 to Community Harvest last month for freezers and refrigerators.

Community Harvest Food Bank is one of the recipients of this year’s WOWO Brigadoon Fitness Penny Pitch: learn more here.
