DEFIANCE, Ohio (WOWO): A truck driver has died after suffering a medical issue while driving Tuesday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Dorian McDaniel, 37, of Cleveland, was driving south on State Route 15 just north of US 24. That’s when they say he suffered a medical issue and his truck drifted into an oncoming Pontiac Vibe.

The driver of the Vibe was treated and released for minor injuries.

However, McDaniel was taken to a Defiance hospital, where he later died.

The Defiance County Coroner is investigating the cause of McDaniel’s medical condition.
