ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): One person was killed in a crash Thursday morning in Hoagland.
Police tell our Partners in News at ABC 21 that the crash happened at 8:49 a.m. near Peridot. An SUV traveling on Minnich Road left the roadway, went through a cornfield, and fell down into a creek, flipping over.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Mohsen Saba, 74 of Defiance, Ohio.
An autopsy revealed Saba’s cause of death to be blunt force injuries obtained in the crash, and his manner of death has been ruled an accident.
Saba is the 29th fatal crash in Allen County this year.
