A Milford Man Behind Bars On Child Molestation Charges

Milford Police Department has arrested a Milford man on preliminary charges of felony child molestation Monday.  Milford Town Marshal Rich Miotto stated their department began an investigation into alleged accounts of a possible child that had been molested by a family member on October 18th.  Child Protective Services brought the information to their agency and stated that the incident possibly had been occurring since 2008.  Milford officers interviewed the alleged suspect, Kent Adam Flannery, 31, Milford, who did admit to his involvement.  Milford officers filed charges with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office and arrest Flannery yesterday afternoon on one count of felony child molestation with a victim less than 14 year old.  Flannery is currently being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $20,000 bond.  Due to the sensitivity of the case, the name an age of the victim is not being released according to Marshal Miotto.

The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
