The Fort Wayne Komets announced Monday that forward Chris Auger has a complete tear of the ACL and a torn meniscus and will miss the rest of the season as a result of an open-ice hit by Evansville’s Aaron Gens in Saturday’s win over the Icemen. Auger was a 28-goal scorer for the K’s last season. The Komets return to action Friday and Saturday when they host Gwinnett at the Coliseum.
