Accused Cemetery Killer Declared Competent for Trial

A man accused of murdering a woman in a cemetery last year is competent to stand trial.

Both prosecutors as well as Albers' defense accepted the results and a trial date has been set for October 6th.

Albers is facing charges of felony murder, abuse of a corpse, and rape for the October 2014 killing of 30 year old Katherine Gick at the Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
