FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the recent death of an infant.

Just before 2:30 Monday morning, ACSD responded to the 6800 block of Valley Drive on a report of an unconscious infant.

Crews tried to revive the child but the baby was pronounced dead at the scene.
