FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It could be time to go back to the drawing board.

In 2008, a land use plan for Fort Wayne and Allen County was created to set guidelines for where industrial, commercial, and residential zones should be. Allen County Commissioner Nelson Peters tells WOWO news it’s time for an update:

“We decided to really sort of look at an area from Airport Expressway all the way southwest to where the General Motors facility is,” Peters says. “Plans do change. Places change. People change.”

Peters calls the plan, called “Plan It Allen,” something “huge” that had “never been done before.” Hear his full interview here.
