Anderson Police: Road rage incident leads to stabbing…

ANDERSON, Ind. (AP) – Central Indiana police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed a teenager in a road rage attack that followed a near-collision between two cars.

Anderson police tell the Herald Bulletin the 18-year-old victim told officers he was punched in the face and stabbed by a man Friday morning.

The teen says he was driving near Anderson University when his car slid on ice and nearly struck a car with an after-market grille.

The teen says he drove on to a relative's home and when he exited his car he noticed the other drive had followed him. He and the man then exchanged words before the man punched him in the face, stabbed him twice in the leg and drove off.

The teen sought treatment at a local hospital.
