Angola Man Arrested for Illegal Sale of Spice

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A one month long undercover investigation into the sale of the illegal K2/Spice drug has resulted in the arrest of 33-year-old Richard Newsome of Angola.

Officers working a separate case noticed illegal substances in a tattoo shop, on N. Wayne Street in Angola.

They alerted narcotics deputies from the Steuben County Sheriff Office and then undercover agents from the D.E.A. and I.M.A.G.E. drug task force later made purchases of the illegal K2/Spice inside the store. After obtaining a search warrant, they found narcotics items and paraphernalia when they searched the store last Thursday.

Newsome is being held in the Steuben County Jail without bond and in the meantime, the case remains under investigation.
