Annual Event Funding Special Olympics Returns To The Fort

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — The 26th Annual Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics is set for Saturday, February 8th at Metea County Park.

Festivities kick off at 10 am with individuals and teams hitting the water at about 11.

Prizes include honoring the top fundraiser and even a costume contest.

Last year, more than 3,400 people took the plunge and raised 1-point-1-6 million dollars to benefit 19-thousand Special Olympians statewide.
