BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) _ A Bloomington company has notified the state it plans to permanently eliminate about 320 jobs.
Aftermarket electronics repair company ModusLink PTS has told the Indiana Department of Workforce Development the loss of business from a major customer is causing the layoffs.
The Waltham, Massachusetts-based company says it expects the layoffs to begin April 21 and continue for up to 30 days. They affect six salaried employees, 187 hourly workers, and up to 127 contracted or temporary workers.
