Body Pulled from Small Plane in central Indiana

LEBANON, Ind. (AP): Authorities say a body has been pulled from the wreckage of a plane in central Indiana.

The Boone County Coroner's Office has confirmed the body was pulled from the wreckage of a plane located Sunday in a field southwest of Lebanon.

Medical examiners are waiting on dental records Tuesday to confirm the identity of the body.

The Civil Air Patrol says searchers using cellphone and radar data found the wreckage of a two-seat plane that had been missing since April 3 and apparently nose-dived into the rural field about 25 miles northwest of Indianapolis. The only person believed to be aboard was 58-year-old pilot Glenn Foy of Indianapolis. He was reported missing April 6.
