FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A Fort Wayne group may be looking to expand the downtown district boundaries.

In an effort to make the most of recent riverfront opportunities, the Fort Wayne Downtown Improvement District is considering expanding it's service area. According to our partners in news at 21Alive, the group is in the process of applying for a 10-year re-authorization and would need signed petitions from at least half of the commercial property owners to get approval.
