LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) _ A key bridge in northwest Indiana has been shut down again.
A statement from the Indiana Department of Transportation says that northbound I-65 near Lafayette is closed to traffic because of concerns about the Wildcat Creek bridge.
Officials say structural engineers monitoring the northbound bridge since it reopened on Wednesday noticed movement in a vertical riverbank pier. That prompted the closure.
I-65 northbound merges to one lane and is diverted onto U.S. 52 north of Lebanon.
There's no word from the transportation department about when the bridge might reopen.
