Car Collides with Train in Kosciusko County

SILVER LAKE, Ind. (WOWO): A man escaped injury after a train collided with a vehicle around 7:30 Monday morning near Silver Lake. That's an area about 10 miles southeast of Warsaw.

Once on the scene of the crash on County Road 1200 South between 100 West and 200 West, police could only find the bumper of the car. Later, they located the driver who drove home after the incident.

Police believe the driver pulled his vehicle too close to the tracks as a train was passing through. The train then crashed into the vehicle, pulling it for some distance. They say the man was uninjured.
