KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – One woman is in critical condition after a head-on crash with a Freightliner Thursday.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel were called to State Road 15 at 550 South near Claypool around 6:15 p.m.
An investigation revealed a 2013 Toyota was traveling northbound on SR 15 when it traveled into the southbound lane, causing a head-on collision with a 2018 Red Freightliner with a tanker trailer.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne for treatment of her injuries, and is currently listed in critical condition.
The Freightliner operator was not injured.
The crash is currently under investigation.
