Caution Urged Around High Water

Flood waters have made for some treacherous travel conditions these past few days in and around Allen County.  There have been numerous reports of drivers trying to make it through the high water and getting stuck.  Officials say it only takes about six inches of water to cause a car to stall, and they urge motorists to go a different way when you encounter high water while driving.  Some local roads have been closed as a result of the conditions.  A 19-year old Ball State student reportedly died in Grant County last weekend when his car went off the road, into a flooded field.
