Charly Butcher - Talk Tank 2018

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne radio icon was laid to rest Monday.

Charly Butcher died last Wednesday at the age of 61. Yesterday, hundreds of family, friends, and colleagues gathered at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Fort Wayne for funeral services, with burial following at Lindenwood Cemetery.

Butcher’s passing led to tributes from people all over Fort Wayne media, as well as state and local leaders, and Vice President Mike Pence.

The WOWO staff appreciates the public’s outreach during this time, and pledge to never forget Charly, nor the legacy he left us.
