Chase Bank Branch Near Glenbrook Square Closing

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): JPMorgan Chase is closing one of its bank branches in Fort Wayne.

The Coldwater Road location across from Glenbrook Square is closing on November 4th. Employees working at that branch will move to other branches in town.

The bank has consolidated 10 branches in Indiana over the past two years. A spokesman tells the Journal-Gazette that Chase is consolidating branches where there is another bank nearby or where traffic is low.

Coldwater customers are encouraged to use the branch at 2201 St. Mary's Avenue instead. The Coldwater location will be sold.
