Circe the Cat Ready to be Adopted

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A cat that was featured in recent news stories as a result of suffering frostbite and the loss of tissue from both of her ears is now ready to be adopted from Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control. The 2-year-old female black cat was found and reported during the last winter snow storm. The extreme wind chills of 45 degrees below zero were life threatening to animals left outside. The cat, named Circe by shelter staff, was medically treated using donation based dollars. Adoption profiles for Circe will be accepted for two days only on February 6 and 7.
