Fort Wayne, Ind. – Earlier today, the City of Fort Wayne was notified that its garbage and recycling contractor, Republic Services, would not operate its collection routes tomorrow because of the pending storm.</p>

The announcement will delay garbage and recycling residents for City residents by one day the rest of the week.

Fort Wayne residents who normally have their pick-up on Wednesday will now have it on Thursday.  Customers who normally have collection on Thursday will be on Friday, and those on Friday will be on Saturday this week.
