FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): City officials in Fort Wayne are formally looking for new developers for a riverfront development site.

A few weeks ago the city terminated their development deal with Continental Property Group over the $62-million “HIVE” mixed-use development at the corner of Harrison and Superior Streets, saying CPG couldn’t hold up their financial end of the deal.

Redevelopment Director Nancy Townsend tells the Journal Gazette now they’re moving ahead with a request for qualifications from developers interested in the property.

She adds that she’s receiving interest from “both local and national developers” about the 3.44-acre site.
