FORT WAYNE (WOWO): For 15 years, officers with Fort Wayne's Police department have been sharing ideas with officers from Gera, Germany.

It's part of the Sister City's programs, and an exchange of cultures, strategies and fresh perspectives.

A delegation of officers is in Fort Wayne.  Police spokesman Michael Joyner says

He says both departments have unique challenges, in Gera, with the Autobahn much of their efforts focus on traffic safety and crowd control for volatile international soccer.
