Coroner Details Fatal Crashes

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Authorities have identified two people killed in separate crashes Wednesday.

The coroners office says 51-year-old Ricky Richhart of New Haven died from blunt force trauma when his pickup truck rolled in a crash at Parrot Road at I-469.

Twenty-five year-old Jami Beale of Fort Wayne died from blunt force trauma she suffered in a three-car chain-reaction collision late Wednesday afternoon on St. Joe Road near the Village of Canterbury.

Investigators say Richhart's truck pushed through a guardrail on Parent Road into an embankment. The impact forced the pickup to roll into the south bound lane of I-469 near mile marker 22. That happened around 2:30.

Wednesday around 5 p.m. on Fort Wayne's north side. Beale made an abrupt turn into traffic and collided with another car. A pick-up swerved to avoid the first car, struck the second, which then pushed it into the first vehicle.
