Decatur, Ind. (WOWO): A community says goodbye to it's beloved leader.



Decatur will pay its final respects to former five-term Mayor Fred Isch.



Isch will be laid to rest Saturday with funeral services at St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic. Visitation is today from Noon to 6 at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral home in Decatur. Then again, Saturday from 10 a.m. To 11 a.m. At the church.



Isch died Tuesday morning. He served as a police officer, school board member, city councilman and served 20 years as mayor.

Current Mayor John Schultz praised Isch for being involved and placing principle over politics.

He was 81.
