Decatur man arrested in connection to recent hit-and-run

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO):  The man wanted in connection with a recent hit-and-run crash that killed 24-year-old Nicholas Mruk, has been arrested.

According to our partners in news at ABC21, 19-year-old Aaron Moser of Decatur, was arrested and booked into the Allen County Lock Up. He is facing a preliminary count of Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Crash Resulting in Death. The charge is considered a Level 5 Felony.

The crash happened Monday night. Crews were called to Hand Road near West Dupont Road just before 8 p.m. Police say Mruk was riding his bike when a vehicle struck him. The vehicle that hit Mruk then drove away.

He is the 26th traffic fatality victim in Allen County this year.
