DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): DeKalb County officials have released full details for early voting and Election Day vote centers for the 2026 Primary Election, emphasizing expanded access across multiple locations while reminding voters that there will be no voting inside the courthouse.
On Primary Election Day, all DeKalb County registered voters may cast their ballots at any vote center in the county, regardless of precinct. Polls will be open 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The following vote centers will be available:
- American Legion Post 202
- Ashley Community Center
- Coburn Corners Church of Christ
- Corunna Fire Department
- Dayspring Community Church
- First United Methodist Church Auburn (Door #8)
- Judy A. Morrill Recreation Center (JAM Center)
- New Hope Christian Center Unity Hall (Door #6)
County officials stress that the combination of early voting dates, extended hours, and multiple vote centers is intended to provide flexibility for all voters. By allowing residents to vote at any location on Election Day and offering both daytime and evening early voting hours, the county aims to reduce congestion and improve participation.
Voters are encouraged to plan ahead, review dates and times carefully, and take advantage of early voting options to avoid potential lines on Election Day.
