FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An employee of the Dollar General off the 1900 block of East Tillman Road was stabbed Saturday night during a robbery.

The employee is reported to be in stable condition.

Accrording to our partners in news at 21alive, the suspect is described as a black male, about six feet tall in his mid 20's wearing a black shirt and black pants.

The robbery may be connected to a series of Dollar General and Family Dollar armed robberies that have been occurring over the last few months in the Fort Wayne area.
