FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne Home was damaged in an early morning house fire on the 6900 block of Embers Court.

Six people were able to evacuate the home, including two adults and four children.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department determined the fire started in the attic, and they spent several hours removing charred insulation from the area.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
