PORTLAND, Ind. (WOWO): As many as 102 new jobs could be coming to Jay County.

Officials with Carrera Manufacturing will invest $1.27 million to build a clean room at its plant in Portland. The room is expected to be ready this spring.

The improvements will allow the plant to meet demand for anti-fog, anti-glare, thermal and UV-cured coatings.

Company leaders say they'll begin hiring before the end of the year. Applicants can apply in person at the plant on Morton Street in Portland.
